From Fez to Taza
Taza,is a charming city, situated in the north east region of Morocco.
The city is recognized as a passage between the Rif Mountains and the middle Atlas Mountains which make it a windy city.
Our day trip will start with a visit of the old city (medina) of Taza leading to its historical monuments such as :Drouj Bab Jamaa, Jamaa Lkber Sour Moulwalbe and Al Mechwar.
Our next visit will be exploring Friouato Cave-located in the south of Taza Its farthest reach still uncovered in spite of the exploration of nearly 270 meters.
Not to mention the existence of some hallmarks that symbolizes a subterranean river which is assumed to flow the Grottes of Chiker.
Also The National Park of Tazeka with a surface of 6.8 km² is a worth-visiting place as well.
The Park was constructed to protect the natural resources from the mountain Jbel Tazekka.
In the late afternoon we will Back to Fez by the highsway.
